The process
Idea generation
It all starts with a brainstorm or series of idea generation sessions. These ideas can come from internal studio members, market trends, or recognized problems in specific industries.
Preliminary evaluation
Once an idea is generated, a preliminary evaluation is performed. This could include market research, interviews with potential users or customers and an assessment of technical feasibility.
Prototyping
If an idea seems promising, the next step might be to create a prototype. This allows the studio to test the idea in a tangible format and get initial feedback.
Market Validation
With a prototype in hand, the studio can begin testing the idea on a market sample. This might include rolling out the prototype to a group of beta users, conducting detailed interviews, or running small marketing tests.
Product development
If market validation shows significant demand, the studio may decide to invest resources in developing a full product.
Launch
Once the product is developed, it is launched on the market. This could initially be a soft launch, followed by a broader launch based on feedback and data collected.
Iteration
Based on market feedback and user data, the studio will iterate on the product, making improvements and adapting it to market needs.
Scaling
If the startup is successful, the studio may decide to scale it further, self-funding, seeking external funding, or it may decide to sell it to a larger company.
